With data provided by Mateus Dauernheimer Machado, we could see Team Liquid data, the team Stewie2k is currently playing for and see how Stewie2k affected the team when signed. Given there were other changes with the roster, game updates, and competitive map pool changes this data shows how Stewie2k affected Team Liquid.

Before Stewie2k joined Team Liquid here are some of the statistics, there were a total of 207 maps played with a 68.60% win percentage meaning they won 142 maps and having played 41 different teams. The most played map being Inferno at 52 games and the least being Dust 2 at 7 games.

After Stewie2k joined those numbers changed having played less games at 133 with a win percentage of 79.70% while also playing 41 different teams. With Stewie2k joining 3 weeks before that start of the new season there were updates, with that update the competitive map pool changed changing Team Liquids map choice along with play style with the newly added Stewie2k. Overpass became Team Liquids most played map at 28 and the newly added Cache became their least played map at 4.

We can dive deeper to make a different distinction between two years. Comparing the 2018 and 2019 season we can show a different view on the data.

In 2018 Liquid only played 33 different teams with the win percentage being 70.99% having played 131 total maps. The most played map was Inferno with 34 maps played and least being overpass.

Another key thing to Stewie2k being added for the 2019 season was Liquid winning the Intel Grand Slam which is a difficult feat to do in the ESL Pro league. An Intel Grand Slam is winning multiple S-tier events within one season. The 2019 Liquid were the best Liquid team in the organization’s history, being ranked #1 in the world according to ESL’s official website.

In conclusion, Stewie2k’s addition the the 2019 Liquid line up changed their game plans and he had an impact on the teams performance by increasing wins and being apart of another dominating roster.
